I'm very happy to see the tiger, seeing as Nursery Nazuna has already capped and Lucky Lavush may hit his level cap soon as well. I'd prefer a monkey, but that's how the proverb goes. "Everybody wants a monkey, but usually you get something else."
And the autumn of life has finally come
with the promise of winter thaw.
For some reason, Nursery Nazuna hits a level cap at around 86 although other jug pets from the same level range keep going up. Nursery Nazuna works fine with Beast Affinity merits right now, but at 99 there will be a noticeable difference in it's performance.
Edit: I'm hoping this is because there are plans to add a Karakul jug pet eventually. Rage is an amazing ability for a jug pet.
Damn I really didn't know that.
Well yeah then, Nazuna will work fine for this patch but will fall behind in december/november when the level 99 cap patch comes out =/

i want the penguin, just to run around and watch it waddle all over the place. simple things amuse me.
Strike at it's eyes, my feathered minion!
Weeble waddle weeble waddle weeble waddle! WAAAKKK! BOINK! BOINK!
You have pleased me with this display.
Didn't they show, looong time ago, a BST with a Krabkatoa-like pet called with Call-beast? I'm pretty sure I remember this pic from a job update note on the POL website.
What happened to those pets? Maybe we'll have to wait 95>99.
I'm glad about all the attention they're giving to new jugs (hoping there will be new CHEAP jugs as well, just like the ones that got introduced at 80) and everything, altough at the same time it kinda pains me a bit to see the "new direction" they forced BST to go over the last years.
Was it really "necessary"? Was it the only way to allow the job to evolve and keep up with others?
I'm talking about "Charm". When the job was initially released and for several years after, "Charm" was the core mechanic on which the job was build upon. "Call Beast" was just an alternative to use in situations where charm wasn't possible.
Slowly things changed and over the last few years we kinda got things the other way around.
Charm is the alternative usually, while Call Beast is the core mechanic of the job and all the new cool stuff are focused and balanced around that idea.
I dunno, I really liked the Charm part. The risk of failure, the CHR and charm gear sets, the usefulness of Familiar with Charm, the use of other job abilities like Tame and more recently Feral Howl to save yourself from a mischarm. Just like I hated the randomness of charm even with 2000000 gear/chr
But all in all it was a style, a way of playing the job that I really liked and probably what got me into BST initially.
I'm not saying they should stop releasing Jugs since that's quite evidently the new way of playing BST they've been thinking of and since the majority of players seems to be liking it, but at the same time I'd really love to see them shed a lil bit of love on Charm once again.
Guess nobody shares my feelings? :'(

Someone asked for pets with more unique looks like CourierCarrie, and i think they said "We're looking into that", They also mentioned maybe adding pets with Unique TP moves as well.
I.E giving us a Tiger with a unique TP move no other tigers get. something like that.
They probably scrapped those ideas though, since we haven't heard about them in so long.
