Rage BP's

I expect this has been touched upon in the Manifesto Thread but...

I REALLY wanna see a new rage blood pact for each standard avatar maybe with some half decent additional effects...

We've been using Predator Claws and more recently Wind Blade/Heavenly Strike pretty much exclusively for years now and we need more choice to spend our mp on, just sayin....

I know we are getting a new standard avatar at some stage but that shouldnt mean our beloved avatars dont get something new in their arsenal.

What does everyone else think?

Well, personally I would like to see a mix of magical and physical lv99 pacts. It's hard to make suggestions because we're not sure what kind of changes are going to be made to the lv75 merits.

I'd either like to see the each avatar fairly well balanced between magical and physical or have some of them really excel at one or the other. Let's take Shiva for example. Rush is a fairly lackluster 70 pact. Her lv 99 pact could either be a strong physical pact to replace Rush, or it could be another ice nuke, perhaps with an additional effect like MDB down or TP reset. Personally, I think the 75 merit pacts should all be given the added effects and the lv99's should be the most powerful.

As far as lv99 pacts, I would like a single hit H2H pact (Ifrit), a multi-hit piercing pact (Fenrir), single hit piercing (Levi), a multi-hit blunt (Titan), a new aoe thunder nuke (Ramuh) and a single target blizzaja type pact (Shiva). All of these should put out damage worthy of lv99.

[Tweak P. Claws to scale to meet these new pacts and give Garuda a def/max hp down wind based light nuke. Diabolos should get a powerful debuff and Carbuncle a -mdt/pdt pact. Again, all of these should be worthy of lv99.]

smn has been getting the shaft forever lol. remember when we were finaly supposed to get new avatars and we get avatar favor instead, and a 2hr ja lol. Everything smn has gotten since 75+ lvl cap increase has been pretty lame as far as dmg goes, and only good ward I can think off of hand is fleet wind and that doesnt do much battle wise lol.

If there are any new rage pacts, you'll see them all at L99.

There's a pattern following BPs added 76+, basically one every 2 levels. At 96, I'm guessing Fenrir gets something, and and 98, probably Diabolos. As for the rest, it's been said probably merits or the "new merits" they mentioned when they announced the first level cap rise.
