    Playspan Problems

    I'm posting this to make SE and other players aware of an issue with Playspan. I can't buy crysta through them. the reason they give is I'm tripping one of their security filters.

    They refuse to tell me what it is and thus I have no way to fix a problem that might be on my end. I have tried paypal as well as credit card. I have never had a problem like this before when using paypal.

    I even contacted them and paypal said it's playspan that keeps canceling. I have contacted playspan a few times and was told to make sure all my information is correct. all my information with paypal is correct and my card which is through my bank is correct as well.

    the only option I have is click and buy. I had some problems setting up my account with them. due to the fact my bank doesn't allow international charges unless it's an actual card swipe.

    I was able to clear it up and now have a re loadable card registered with them. so I have a way to pay. I'm not posting this to complain.

    I just wanted to share. I have been treated very badly by playspan. they treat me like I'm a bad person and the last time I talked with them the person after 5 minutes of not talking disconnected the online chat.

    I enjoy 11. I'm looking forward to it's future. I just want to be able to use my base debit card to pay.

    then wait till mid fall they adding options for direct paying looks like. They are also exstending the transfer process for these new options to take place. You got plenty of time to switch.

    But thanks for bringing up this issue. Kibda funny that playspan is also hosting a contest for free $100 card. XD Yet treat people like <inster poop releated cuss word here>

    I found out a few days ago that I was having the same problem with Playspan, my VPN connection (Virtual Private Network, basically a proxy) was tripping their fraud protection features and cancelling the transaction. I ended up having to use my parent's computer in the US (via a VNC, Virtual Network Computing) to make my payment.

    I suggest trying to make your payment from a different location, perhaps a library or net cafe. It's certainly not as secure as doing it from home, but if it's your only way...

    I'm not sure how they treated you badly. If someone was tripping my security systems I probably wouldn't tell them exactly why either, because if they're trying to break in, it could give them a clue how to get around it. //devil speaking ...

    OTOH, it's certainly not very helpful to the person genuinely needing help. I guess I see "treated very badly' as them being rude on the phone or something like that. That doesn't automatically make ultimatepay an evil entity though. Plenty of people have gotten it to work just fine (Certainly a lot more than click and buy, at least).

    At any rate, I'd try Maacha's suggestion to see if your connection or something on your computer is making you appear insecure to them.
