The first public reports I saw were level 80. That doesn't mean it wasn't being done at 75, though. There was a lot of profit to be made off of those first AVs. It would have simply required a good supply of well geared players with the right jobs. AV at 80 and especially 85 was an absolute joke =/.
It was being farmed before 80, it can be done without PD now.
Yeah meteor still one-shots everything in sight at lv90 and probably will still do the same at 99.
I do not like the idea of having to do old void watch to do the new ones. Voidwatch isn't that popular and I almost never see any shouts or groups forming for it besides Japanese ones who do not want English speaking people to join them. Sure it would be fun to kill these new NMs but it probably won't happen due to the fact that abyssea gear is so easy to get and usually better then voidwatch gear.
Now most people won't even get to do the new void watch part 2 because it requires doing all the first part.
Abyssea destroyed the LS mentality of the game and made almost everything pug. Now they are trying to go back to how it used to be, that's how it comes across anyway. They want people to make Voidwatch linkshells and have to do it that way.I do not like the idea of having to do old void watch to do the new ones. Works on all types of damage. But if you have summoners there for Earthen Armour you may aswell just use Perfect Defense, unless you're doing multiple pops of course.
