Buying Ultimate Collection for Already Active Account

If I buy the Ultimate Collection (includes all expansions/mini-expansions/abyssea) from direct2drive could I use it to unlock and activate the mini-expansions on an account that I'm already using?

Indeed, you can. I just did that myself.

Yes you can use the registration code that accompanies the download to register for said content. I've never used Direct2Drive to do so i personally used steam but i cant imagine them being different since they both offer the game in the same manner (downloadable w/ reg code) Just remember you can't register your content on POL anymore its gotta be done from your web browser due to SE's decision to strip POL bare.

I'm unaware if you need to complete the account transfer process before you can tweak what is registered and what isn't on your account. Assuming of course you haven't transferred already but even if you should be required to transfer your account at least you have better options when it comes time to decide your payment method.

So I bought it from Gamesload (one of the links you get from POL website itself) and when they sent me the reg codes there's only one for the whole collection!

I was thinking of making a new character with the spare codes but as it's just one code will that be possible?
