Character Transfer

I'm just wondering if SE ever gave thought to the idea of allowing a character to transfer from one ID to another, i know it would create quite a large problem with RMT's selling characters but I dont think it would be a problem if the feature was limited to ID's in the same SE account... I have 3 accounts and i really would like to have all my characters on one..

Wouldn't mind hearing other ppls thoughts on the matter...

Yeah so I can delivery box my R/EX items to a friend. Just need them to be on my account for a sec then switch back to theirs.

Edit: That came out meaner than I thought. I think I need sleep ;P Just meant that people would do this and rare/ex would become pointless.

As i stated in the OP i don't think being able to transfer characters all over the place would be a good idea... it would give RMT a lot more business... The only way i could see SE adding such a feature is if its limited to Playonline ID's on the same SE account and not between SE accounts...

I assume they refused to do it because it would mean you would not have to buy a copy of the game with serials etc, all they would have to do is make the cost similar to the price of a new pack (or more) and give them new codes etc.

They won't do it though because there isn't enough demand for it, the cost of setting it up would be more than the money they would get back from people doing it.

Yea i thought that might be one of the reasons they haven't done it... though it would be nice to have the feature in the future... never know :P
