Give them a "skip cutscenes" option.
Give me a cutscene theater in Jeuno where I can rewatch my favorites at any time without having to go to a goblin footprint in some god forsaken part of Vanadiel.

This is a total non-issue. Even if you have no interest at all in the story, cutscenes outside of those storylines aren't that common, and they're one-shot deals. Just fast click through them and it's over with. If you're doing stuff for the gear, you have what, the stuff at the end of ROTZ and COP, you've got some cutscenes when entering an Abyssea zone for the first time and when exiting the first time after beating the boss. A few cutscenes in Hall of the Gods. All this stuff put together is going to take up maybe 3 hours of your life, tops, and you're done for good. Generally a single piece of +2 Empyrean armor takes up more than that.
Actually, CoP is a total of 8 hours, and ROTZ is something like an hour and a half. The point still stands though. These are one shot deals that take less time than the majority of activities in this game.

Longest one I can remember is the 10 minute CS you get when zoning in to the Throne Room for Darkness Descends. Granted I haven't made it past When Wills Collide just yet, so I could be wrong.
Okay so I can understand not being interested in the story. But here's the thing; these missions are OPTIONAL. If the cutscenes are so bothersome, why not just avoid the storyline missions all together? CoP is the only one that opens up new areas in terms of endgame content and gear. ROTZ opens up Apocalypse Nigh and Divine Might earrings. That's about it. But if a one time series of cutscenes is THAT hard to bear, just find something else to stick in those equipment slots.
I think it's odd how people pay money to play this game, then insist on all these shortcuts so that they don't have to go through the agony of actually having to play.
