Try to use skillup food and Prouesse Ring, then join an abyssea pt and spam bloodpacts.
Summoning Skill is difficult to level, because it has less opportunities to do so, so you need to find ways to increase that.

But even Summoning Skill is a breeze compared to Guard... you get 0.2 skillups on Guard in the time it takes Summoning to get 2.0...

Prouesse Ring only works for: Increase rate of combat skill gains.
However Stuffed Pitaru and Poultry Pitaru do work for: Increase the rate of magic skill gains so stuff yourself and go do those BP.
