Missing cutscenes

Hi, this isn't a problem I've had myself, at least not to my knowledge, and it can also in some cases be hard to know if it did happen to you.

A friend of mine recently started this game, and yesterday I was helping him with the Sandoria Mission 5-2 shadowlord fight. When he entered the fight, he didn't get a cutscene, he was just put directly into the battlefield with the shadowlord in front of him, ready to attack. I, on the other hand, who have done it a couple of times before, got the usual "skip event yes/no" prompt. He did get the usual mid-fight CS and the CS after killing him, though.

Another instance of this is when I first did the Windurst final mission fight with a different buddy, but this is a few months ago. This was the first time i ever did a Rank 10 fight, but he had completed bastok long ago. In this case, I got the starting CS, but he did not.

I'm just posting to see if this is a common problem, or if anyone has any idea what could have caused these things.

I can't fill in a bug report because it hasn't happened to me yet, at least not to my knowledge, so please don't ask me to do this, devs/community reps .

Firstly, I'd think if you want to discuss about it instead of report it as a bug, the General Discussion board would be better. ^^

Just guessing what they would say, too...


Either way, no, this is not a new issue. I've had a friend or few have it happen as well, but never myself, so I haven't been able to really look into it either. =\

However, your friend is more then welcome to make their own report on this concern and we can assist them directly! As Dragoy mentioned, it also seems as though this concern may have been reported. If that report is the same as what your friend experienced, there is no need to report again!
