Makhila +2 question

Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to have two Makilha +2 weapons if they have different stats or is it only possible to have one?

They're rare so you'll be limited to one. If you tried you would probably get all the way to the end and then on the final trial would get:

"You cannot obtain the Makhila +2. Please come back after sorting your inventory"

Doubt anyone's tried but I'd assume this is the case. Could probably have a +2 and a +1 if you wanted.

I think you can, cuz you can have multiple augmented items of the same type in aby, so long as they have different augments

You can't. They are rare. Augmented items in Abyssea don't have the rare tag when you can have more then one, just the augmented and exclusive tags.

You can. I am living proof for having 2 versions of Surya +2, Indra +2, Vayu +2, Varuna +2 staves. 1 for SMN and 1 for either BLM or WHM. they are rare/ex/aug and yet its still possible to obtain them if their augmentation is different.

No, they aren't. Look again. You'll notice that none of these staves has the rare tag on them. Augmented/Exclusive yes, but Rare no. If the wiki already didn't confirm this, I'd post a screenshot of my Surya's Staff as proof. It most certainly does not have the Rare tag on it. On that note, I imagine it is possible to get the same augments on a staff trial staff without the rare augments twice, although I can't think of a good reason to do this.
