    Q for Devs: MMM Updates planned?

    With GoV, normal areas offer something competitive to Abyssea. Campaign and Besieged have also gotten much needed attention. However, Moblin Maze Mongers has been left behind.

    Abyssea caps out at extremely high exp per mob, in addition to exp chests and bonus exp from regimes. GoV combines the doubled experience values available in addition to the bonus from regimes. But what does MMM give?

    Could SE introduce Runes that make MMM comparable to Abyssea or GoV?

    Could there be a bonus to Sanitization Teams Alpha, Beta, and Gamma?

    Beta had a glitch where multiple waves would come at once... could this be addressed?

    Gamma was interesting, but there was too much running around when the exp was dependant on being able to chain mobs.

    Could SE come out with new exp-based Vouchers?

    My group was getting 30k/hour on the low end for a Beta maze @75. A gimp duo could get EXP/hour that bad in Abyssea, but there is a bigger commitment of time due to how long it takes to build chains/lights/etc (in the older zones anyway). With mazes, you can do it as little or as long as you like, the EXP/hour is the same. I'm not opposed to increasing the amount of EXP possible, I just don't see it as necessary. I still see JP shouts for EXP at lower levels, but mazes were always more popular with the JPs than the North Americans.

    3 EXP mazes aren't enough? I know this may be hard to imagine, but there's more to the game than EXP. You have Abyssea for all the easy EXP you can imagine. How about something interesting for a change? The Synthesis maze (#04) was a flop as far as the community is concerned: too difficult for the amount of reward. Actualization Team (#05) is probably the coolest thing they've ever done, but even the best belt you could get pales in comparison to what you can get in Abyssea (though this is still the only way to get Fast Cast on a belt, I believe). Liquidation (#07) was good when it was released, but it's rewards were mostly sidegrades at the time, and are significantly outclassed by everything we have now (plus shitty drop rate). Revitalization (#09) promised to be an upgrade to Liquidation, but there were only a small handful of items worth having, and the barrier to the higher level NMs was too big of a pain in the ass to bother with.

    That leaves Appropriation (#06) and Aquatic Depopulation (#8) as the only mazes left worth doing. Appropriation for marble farming (it's also kinda fun!), but no one cares about mazes anymore. Aquatic Depopulation for rings and charts.

    We could use more fun/interesting experiences in mazes (<3 Actualization Team). Mazes could also benefit from having the ability to control weather effects in them for magian trials (not the first to mention this, and certainly won't be the last).

    In the year that I was gone, SCH went from a job no one wanted to a job that gets to use their 2-hour and go sit in the corner. I guess that's progress?

    It took many, many tries to get my Koggelmander. I know what you're talking about with the drop rate.
    What I did like about Liquidation was that you could fight the NMs when you wanted to.

    Yes, Appropriation team was fun to figure out, but the rewards were lukewarm.

    Yes. Having control over the weather would be great!

    Also, SE did two things. They put Colibri in the birds maze... yeah! They put in Hippogryphs, and it ruined it.

    I put "Tiny Warrior" in there for a reason.

    Fix it.
