I was also starting to worry since I had not recieved my usual billing notice through PoL like I always do on the 2nd of every month (I have not transfered my account over yet). I went and checked my credit card statement, and I have been charged, and they were the correct ammounts so I guess I'm good for this month.
i was charged correctly on one account and double charged on the other...
Double charged, seems I have paid both via Click&Buy and the normal way to POL. Not deactivated or reactivated anything.
Edit:
As for Rosina insinuating that we lie, here is proof of me being charged double:

Of course it has been cropped to show only the relevant transactions (and 1 not-so-relevant lol).
The difference in the sums are due to 2 things - Click&Buy and POL probably don't use identical rate of exchange, and also as you can see, Click&Buy charged me 2 small amounts when I verified the account, which then was credited my account with them.
And let me add that in all the years I have played this game, I have never had ANY payment issues whatsoever.

OK, so I should enjoy the fact that they are now forcing me to pay for their billing department choice? Should I be happy that since I'm Canadian, I'll be paying 5.9% MORE due to the fact that C&B would be doing the currency conversion for me? Should I trust a company who my own credit card company and bank have both said not to do business with due to multiple BBB complaints? Should I use an international company that might cost me more because my bank or CC company might charge me for an international transaction as someone else on Alla had happen? Should I trust a company that was at the heart of a scandal where Warhammer Online users were charged 10 times for a single month's fees, and someone has already been triple charged by them this month?
See, there's a REASON people hate them. It's not a mystery. Take 20 minutes and google them. I did when FFXIV came out. Plus read their mile long rules and regs document. There's tons of hidden fees and conditions in there that could greatly increase the fees they charge you for playing this game.
My bank also told me not to do business with Click and Buy. I talked to them about it just to get some info on it. I'm taking my banks advice.
I find it really funny that some people are so addicted to this game that they refuse to acknowledge that something is screwed up. Regardless on if your willing to do it or not being over charged to use crysta each month, or dealing with C&B who doesnt seem to have a decent reputation at all, you have to admit the system is now broken. Didn't we all grow up being told "If its not broken don't try to fix it". I am upset on having to go from a system that worked to this new one because SE has not given us even a simple version of why they decided to change it completely.
But the main reason of this post regardless if people like rosina (who at this time I honestly don't care for right now) don't think the "my friend" thing is legit is just check your bank account or CC statement and make sure you were charged the proper amount for Aug.

One of my cousins lost 3 of his fingers when he was little because he stuck his fingers in a gorilla cage and the gorilla bit them off. (true story fyi)
But you know, I should stick my fingers in as well 'cause it didn't happen to me. I've never had bad experiences with gorillas. I'm not about to listen to reports of what happened to other people.
