yeah worked fine for me as well, had it set up in minutes and was pretty painless.
But my brother, who even lives in the same house, had some major issues. Site told him to call click&buy customer support where he was on hold for hours until he eventually just gave up.

my boyfriend had no issues so far, just waiting for him to get of work so I can tansfer mine. See what people are not doing, is being calm. Try the switch. If it goes through great. If yiu have an issues. Let SE know. See what people seem to not get, is that SE may not have though click and buy would have brought up the issues people "claim" to be having. Since most complaints are just on hearsay.
What SE wants is to hear your sctual experiances. Not hearsay
give proof if you can.
Apparently you haven't been reading the threads you keep posting in. People HAVE been providing proof all along.
And the anger and anxiety isn't just about issues with Click&Buy. Granted, there has been some mistrust building because of the proof that it is a complete fail for some who have been trying to register with it...again, referencing the posts in the very threads you are posting in. Just scrolll your page up for some just cited in this very thread. The real problem, as has been stated over and over and over again.....is being FORCED out of using the optimal solution with NO explanation for why they have kept it for one specific region.
They mislead us by not clearly stating over a month ago that this preferred, trusted, proven method for many was going to be dropped. If it had been made more clear back in JUNE when they first announced the pending changes, then we would have been able to voice our objections in plenty of time to hopefully find a remedy before going live. But... instead, we find out on JULY 26 when they went live and forced it upon us, in some cases rendering long time, loyal paying customers with absolutely NO WAY TO PAY.
And no one has a right to be upset, cry "foul play", and expect them to fix it somehow?

they do a test charge. it is supposed to just be a pre-authorization and not actually process, but some have had it actually go through. Some have reported their bank charged them additional fees for various reasons due to the banks policies. Some have reported that the charge was in an alternate currency, causing them to pay a higher rate than they should have because of the exchange rate conversion. Other's have had C&B flat out rejected by their banks. Some can't even use C&B because C&B themselves don't provide service to their area (probly legal/regulatory issues), and don't find that out until the end of the registration process. Some are being told C&B is having trouble verifying the account and C&B requests them to contact them and are put on hold for extended times--when they do get through they are told to send them very sensitive documents like scanned passport or other photo ID, utility bills, even an actual BANKING STATMENT over unsecure medium like normal email.
All this has added up to a general distrust of them at this point.
And to add more insult, some of these have also discovered that SE doesn't extend Crysta to them because of legal issues that SE doesn't want to get mixed up with if they offer it. So, even if those users were to purchase cards for the points through playspan(or use a paypal account, etc)--they STILL can't pay via crysta either.
