    It only gives us more options to have for pets that are unique to the FFXi Jobs we have.

    Having custom choco armor to reflect one's own Job is a good idea!
    They should add that as well!
    But I personally like to ride my own Wyvern as a Dragoon or my own custom puppet as a Puppetmaster to places a chocobo cannot reach quick enough because of short cuts I mentioned. I like having unique pet jobs to be more than just fighting pets, but to be a mount as well.

    It gets boring being limited to Chocobos as mounts... I'm not a FF fanboy so I am not obsess with chocobos.
    I like more choices in pets in the world of Valandiel that specific jobs like BST, PUP, SMN, DRG has etc!

    Just makes it more fun and unique to raise different pets than being LIMITED to only chocobos..
    Having something new with lots of choices is always good!

    Much faster than the chocobo, but you can make Fenrir use BPs and attack while you are riding him! When Fenrir engages in combat while you are on him, Fenrir's speed reduces to the same speed as if you where running without a pet. When you Make fenrir disengage while still on him, it will take 3min for Fenrir to retain his running speed again (This is to avoid kiting with Fenrir method of course). Don't want to break game balance but still want to make it interesting to have a pet to ride and do stuff with.
    I'm sorry, but this has got to be the stupidest idea in the history of stupid ideas, and there have been some whoppers (melee SMN, taking away avatar auto-attack, DRKs nuking, etc).

    I just Bought FFXI on Steam to use on my PC. My PS2 so outdated.

    If they keep PS2 support they gotta bring FFXI to Playstation Vista. The game really lacking players and and adding another consule to FFXI would support the game. Add 1000-2000+ players on each server. Playerbase would double and hopefully bring back more of a future for FFXI.

    The game getting old and dieing slowly. We need to take action now.

    when You mentioned "PC" I was thinking PC like from Windows instead.
    If you say it that way yes I do have a PC.

    I guess what I really ment to say is "I don't have Windows Operating system" but I do have "Mac OSX" and I don't use my mac for gaming. And I don't own a Windows Computer to play games which Majority of the games are played at.

    I use my mac for my own personal reasons.

    Is that better? Sorry for my misunderstandings from That matter.

    I kinda rushed that one...
    I wasn't too sure how to make smn unique when riding Fenrir.
    But I'm sure you might come up with a better and more unique idea! =)

    If you got better ideas on How to ride fenrir and make them different like PUP, BST, DRG that I mentioned, plz do share cause I'll love to see what you have in mind!
