    I found that blog post rather insulting, I'm a female, I believe in doing the best you can at whatever you choose to do, I'm not the best but I don't suck either
    oh and I don't flirt with guys to get stuff either(anyone who does this be it male posing as a female or a real female is just shallow), when I log on I log on to play

    ITT stands for "In This Thread". It generally precedes an ironic reiteration of something funny/incorrect that has appeared in the thread. Example: Saying "ITT: All Galkas are dumb" would be akin to making fun of someone else in the thread who intimated that all Galkas were dumb.

    So no, I'm fairly sure Gokku knows that there are females on the internet. Most people do. It's simply never a good idea to take someone's personal information at face value over the internet, because anyone could really be anyone. It is simply safer to assume that everyone online should be treated as if they were a fellow male. If anything, most females I know appreciate this because it means they aren't getting stupid amounts of unwanted attention or being hit on by 14 year olds with an IQ lower than potato. Anonymity is the ultimate equalizer of the sexes.

    I chose mithra cause I like playing as an animal/anthropomorphic race
    Well, uh, I chose galka for basically the same reason. I wanted to avoid the most humanlike characters, and Tarutaru was not an option to me- cute just does not ride well with me.

    The blog really does have a point. Of course not all female players are bad, just a good handful of them.

    I see nothing wrong with men playing female characters and women playing male characters. Both of my ex girlfriends had made male tarus. It's a game, have fun.

    Probably because they couldn't tell the difference...

    Hell I "knew" one of the males were female for a couple years before I realized the truth.

    Online I act .001% feminine so that guys don't hit on me.

    It happens anyway. D;

    Though if you need to think of me as a guy or as an ugly swine, go right ahead if it makes you feel better ^^;

    that is good because I don't like being given special treatment when it comes down to playing the game, I want people to want to actually play with me based on my ability to play, not cause I'm a girl

    ><)))°.

    A while back, them models were actually included in the official census, and while it does not differentiate between hair-colours, it does show how much each models were used.

    EU site:

    I wonder if they still have links to those on the main-page, since the one I found there seems to go to the most latest only.
    Managed to find this anyways; still there somewhere it seems.

    As for that blog-post, it might not be written as a very serious post, and even if it was, I don't see why anyone should feel insulted by it (it's the internet after all, I wish no one would bother feeling insulted by anything here really but... yeah).

    It does have truth in it, but the person probably knows fully well that there are exceptions.
    And if not, well, I could not care less, and I don't know why anyone else should care at all. ^^;

    I made my Adventuring Fellow look like that 'dominating' model, with white hair and all but I actually thought it was going to be a different model... Didn't bother starting over.

    Moreover, I don't think about people's gender around the internet at all, nor do I care if they are a male pretending to be a female, or a hippo pretending to be a giraffe. I just treat people equally, and as I would like to be treated myself.
