Well, uh, I chose galka for basically the same reason. I wanted to avoid the most humanlike characters, and Tarutaru was not an option to me- cute just does not ride well with me.I chose mithra cause I like playing as an animal/anthropomorphic race
The blog really does have a point. Of course not all female players are bad, just a good handful of them.
I see nothing wrong with men playing female characters and women playing male characters. Both of my ex girlfriends had made male tarus. It's a game, have fun.![]()
Online I act .001% feminine so that guys don't hit on me.
It happens anyway. D;
Though if you need to think of me as a guy or as an ugly swine, go right ahead if it makes you feel better ^^;
Quoted because I always say the same thing XP~Probably because they couldn't tell the difference
Wow, people really need to learn how to take a friggin joke....
A while back, them models were actually included in the official census, and while it does not differentiate between hair-colours, it does show how much each models were used.

I wonder if they still have links to those on the main-page, since the one I found there seems to go to the most latest only.

Managed to find this anyways; still there somewhere it seems.
As for that blog-post, it might not be written as a very serious post, and even if it was, I don't see why anyone should feel insulted by it (it's the internet after all, I wish no one would bother feeling insulted by anything here really but... yeah).
It does have truth in it, but the person probably knows fully well that there are exceptions.
And if not, well, I could not care less, and I don't know why anyone else should care at all. ^^;
I made my Adventuring Fellow look like that 'dominating' model, with white hair and all but I actually thought it was going to be a different model... Didn't bother starting over.
Moreover, I don't think about people's gender around the internet at all, nor do I care if they are a male pretending to be a female, or a hippo pretending to be a giraffe. I just treat people equally, and as I would like to be treated myself.
Blubb ! !! !
...or so the legend says.
male, female, mithra, galka, dun matter, as long as they don't stand in the way of mah domination of all elvaan and then later, domination of the rest of the world![]()
Love life, dare to dream, and LIVE ON PURPOSE!
Also make sure to beat up any evil elvaans along the way, as we all know tarus are the ultimate race.
The blog doesn't mention the Guy who tried to get his wife interested in FFXI by letting her choose his char for him:
She chooses him a Mithra because they're cute. She doesn't play the game anyway. He's stuck with a Mithra.
Or in this case, a cute blonde-pig-tailed Tarutaru female called Babekeke >.>
