i like these idea actually I vote for both. Let people join unions in town or out in the field. (depending on where they currently are) Or have people jpoin a union as part of the prosses. Or have unions tied to their nation

I like your ideas though I had similar issues years ago. I hate xarcabard S with that dragon who dives bomb people during the fight or anyone who is in the area, very annoying.
