We have commenced the previously announced process of transferring PlayOnline IDs to Square Enix Accounts.

We respectfully ask our customers to complete the transfer of their PlayOnline IDs to Square Enix Accounts by following the steps in the special webpage below dedicated to the transfer process.

Why are Japanese players:
A) Still able to pay directly from their credit card?
B) Able to buy Crysta in any amount?

The "Members" page is their little S-E fanclub, where you get swag for registering games. You're looking for the S-E Accounts page.

Eaisest place to start is from playonline.com, click your region, and then click the new, red button near the upper-left corner of the FFXI front page.

Ah thanks.
I'll leave it in the OP though, it's still a dud page their web team should sort out. Though I've made the decision that I wont be transfering my accounts and paying with ultimatePay or Click n Buy, and thus wont be continuing FFXI after this is finished.

for the record we payed playonline not SE directy
2 it is a japanese game
3 it is an international game not reagon locked.

call SE up and ask how you can pay for the game stating you can't use either option. Find out what you can do

Rosina, if you actually handled your own bills you'd see that all of your payments for FFXI over the years were sent to Square-Enix. That's what's on the bill. Playonline = Square-Enix.

I have no idea where the hell people are getting the idea that they're somehow two entities.
