the reason for the change is they are no longer really using playonline as a "network" they will only use it as a lobby to connect to the game. We were psying playonline, not really SE in a sence. Playonline was a middle man.

the way japanese set up money is much different then us and eu. they callulate yen differently then we do our money.

like buying manga is 500 yen (fake number used as an example of yen) where over here it would be $12.88 ( a fake number used as an example to show a difference)

meaning they can pay in exact ammount because of their curreceny, and how they set it up.

That and that 3D secure is more reliable in Japan than in other countries. Much more reliable.

i hope augest is for both ffxi and ffxiv patches ffxiv is getting chocobo finaly in 1.19 (yay) I just hope they list the actual job changes. All they list was "we might do this or this, or this and this"

Good for you, you won't quit because you aren't from that list of countries Click and Buy won't accept transactions from. Which means for those who are from a country on that list, there is no other method of payment....oh wait (in case you missed it, this is sarcasm again).

People who are against this have stated that the reason why they are mad is the principle of the change. That is still a weak excuse because the change is going to happen, and the principle of the change is beyond them. We don't know why they are changing, but we can all agree that this is not for malicious intent. They didn't choose Click and Buy because it has a list of countries that they agree should not play this game, they choose Click and Buy because it offered the least amount of issues with the least amount of cost....most likely. I'm not sure why they choose Click and Buy over Paypal.

Why should I morn people who are complaining over nothing really? Most of the people here complaining are just jumping in the mob as it grows.

It's impossible to tell an accidental troll from the genuine article. An excess of misspellings and contentions without foundations may be the indication of a lack of education, or an inability to benefit from an education. Whether such trolling is calculated stupidity or genuine mental lurching is neither here nor there. No amount of reason will sway a deeply held conviction, whether it's genuinely felt or not. While they have the right to express their views, we are not obliged to listen. There comes a point when you've heard enough, and the game is over. I have. The ignore list was created for a reason. On topic, payment issues not withstanding, I'd like to see what we're gonna be paying for. Even if they payments are made easier, will the content be worth it?

I don't want to name names, but someone here is taking it upon themselves to stick up for SE, and they're doing it badly. Worse yet, they're spamming it. It just goes on and on, and I'm tired of hearing it. I can ignore list the person in question, but people are feeding the trolls--whether they intend to be trolling or not. The troll doesn't work for SE, and their opinion doesn't matter more than anyone elses. It's a vocal minority of one that's controlling the conversation. The way to take back control is to /ignore them. As we all know, the only way to win with a troll is to not play.

Don't forget, I'm on your side on this one! What the heck are these vague daily rewards they keep talking about? I'm all for increasing the level caps, it helps playability, but what kind of content is there going to be for when we hit 75?

Anyway, I hope they announce something soon. They already said that they will be reviewing their new payment options to satisfy the people screaming about it, so I just still want something else to talk about.
