    Destrier Beret redeemal after payment method changes

    Hello. Purchased a new copy of the game last week and started a new account along with it. My issue is, I can't find out how to redeem my Destrier beret. Used to be able to do it through PoL and this is where the guides to get it on Steam and such all point to.

    Someone mentioned being able to do it on the SE Account site (NA version), but it doesn't work. The option to do that isn't even there for me. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Okay, it's a while since I did this with XIV but from my recollection you click "Select Service" from the "Service and Options" section of the menu running down the left side of the page, then select the game and you should get a panel with an Add Service button.

    When you click that you'll get a data entry panel with the following note in red:

    *The following codes can be entered on this screen.
    　 - FINAL FANTASY XI registration codes
    　 - FINAL FANTASY XI expansion software registration codes
    　 - FINAL FANTASY XI reward codes
    I'm pretty sure this is how we registered XIV pre-orders, which also had freebie in-game items.

    Yeah, it was very confusing when XIV launched, many folks couldn't figure how to enter registration codes, the red notes were added by SE during that time to try to clarify it: which is fine, except that the steps needed to get there are still as clear as mud.
