So... Click and Buy...? Where is my Credit Card option without using that? -.-

I wouldnt mind using Click and Buy (despite them asking for rediculous information, which you have to physically mail to the other side of the world)... IF SE would kindly pay for the additional costs they're forcing upon us. It's not only the added costs on top of each transaction, there's also a nice charge that they bill you for at the end of the month (and year) with a service charge. The fact that it's pretty much mandatory is terrible.

8.2 Minimum funding: We may require that You fund a minimum amount on each occasion as set out in the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Website from time to time.

8.3 Sources of funding: If We receive a fund transfer with insufficient information to locate the beneficiary ClickandBuy Account, We will return this to the sender provided that We have sufficient details to do so. A Correction Fee (see fee table) may be deducted from the original deposit amount.

8.4 Funding Fee: Upon funding electronic money to Your Account, We may charge an Account Funding Fee as set out in the fee table. Where possible, these fees will be notified to You prior to completion of the transaction.

8.5 Unregistered Payees: If a person receives notice that a payment has been sent through Us but he/she has not registered for the Service, We will NOT issue any electronic money to him/her and will NOT in any way become his/her agent and the recipient of said notice will have no claim to those funds unless and until he/she registers for the Service and indicates his/her acceptance of the payment and these Terms of Use.

So they require fees for just about anything they do. They charge a fee for everytime they (you, or even SE) makes an error. And will not do ANYTHING to fix the problem.

3.9% charge on every transfer. Which comes with a handeling fee. it's 15,00 regardless of who screwed up if anything went wrong, There's a maintenence fee every month (and yearly even when you have canceled). Which is followed by more fee's and they bill you 7,50 for every time they tell you you have to pay for your SE account. An account, mind you, which costs just 12,95... seriously, what in Altana's name were you thinking?

Either let the current system exist, or let me input my (completely accepted, verified and previously hoop-jumped) CreditCard directly. I dont want to keep jumping through hoops in order for me to pay for my account. Certainly not when you decide to set those hoops on fire as well.

I have to agree. I am not a fan of using Crysta or paying through a 3rd party system. Please introduce a way for us to pay directly and to pay the exact amount. Otherwise I may be forced to cancel my account. After reading more about ClickandBuy, I do not want to use their services.

I also agree. They said there would be an option to pay with 3d secure credit cards, but I didnt see that, only click and buy and ultimate pay. If they meant that was through click and buy, then that was sure a sneaky way of putting it
I settled for the Crysta option when I transferred my account and was just planning on letting my account cancel as I was not going to use these 3rd party vendors. I looked into Ultimate Pay Game Cards, which sounded like my best alternative, but found a good post from 2010 about FFXIV crysta that outlined the option through Ultimate Pay and Paypal. I tried it and it was amazingly easy. I had worked myself up, but in the end it was super easy and worked great, other than no reoccurring or autopay, which really sucks, but you get a free 100 ($1) Upoints for signing up
I logged into my SE account and chose add crysta (at top) clicked on the ultimate pay option, window pops up to choose Paypal or game card, chose Paypal, the Paypal login screen loaded, logged in and verified the type of Paypal transfer and click'd pay. screen went back to ultimate pay pop up window, clicked done and my SE account showed my crysta I had of course had to do a 500 and a 1000 as they dont have a 1500 On one I had to veiw my Crysta Passbook in order for the main account window to reflect my new crysta balance.

May I'm wrong but something is definitifely wrong with click&buy.
I did all necessary steps to verify my credit card and when it comes to link the click&buy accout to my SE account it says - that that service is unaviable in my region/country.
WHAT? Why it isn't aviable in germany?

As far aas I know "t-online" is a german company and even the TÜV is a german company.
It is also recognised as an e-Money institution under EU directive 2000/46/EG.
So why can't I pay with an account they allready verified?

It's the 5.9% currency exchange fee that really bothers me the most. Nearly six percent? That's ridiculous! I live in Canada. ClickAndBuy takes it upon itself to bill my charge card in Canadian dollars, and charges me nearly 6% to do so. If they would bill the U.S. dollar amount directly to my credit card, like S-E used to, my card's issuing bank would only charge 2.5%. I'm now paying extra money for no added value to me.

I have a bank that uses Verified with Visa. I never had any problem using this card with S-E. Now I'm forced to use this unsavory middleman that arbitrarily skims extra money on every transaction, for currency conversions that they shouldn't even have to broker themselves. Why should I eat this added expense for S-E's convenience?

Please, S-E, give us a better option.

ya im sorry but this system is retarded, everyone that didnt switch it in advance is screwed now cuz we cant even play for who knows how long. people r being charged and then cant even access the game. SE is basically saying its not their problem and call clickandbuy. i swear its like SE is trying to run this game into the ground cuz they seem to b doing every screwup they can think of and pissing everyone off. there is a lot of places that wont even accept clickandbuy cuz they screwed over banks and CC companies before
