Anyone else out there that doesn't do Abby? In search for new friends to do non-abby gaming. Anyone remember FFXI before Abby? All this Abby hype has killed the classic feel of FFXI that I've grown used to throughout the years.

Yes there are they are just rather rare who never venture in. I have one in my LS who never goes in, and many in my LS get excited about stuff outside abyssea but we still do a lot with it as well as far as going after things we want static style. Then again I give people in my LS an extremely hard time about aby burning jobs to the point I refuse to use their burned job and shame them when they do it. Sadly the lack of healers who seek on this server keeps us from full out partying much anymore with most of our healers are sick of healing constantly, its a lot of solo or teaming up on FoV instead. We are strictly social though, I have no idea how many endgame event shells still operate outside abyssea or what kinds of groups you will find in that respect.
So in short there are those of us like us out there who actually like the entire game not just part of it We may just be hiding :P
there is a group like this on fenrir they intend to do 75 lvl stuff and actually cap themselves at 75 they are pretty hardcore about it and what not but they want to stick to the old events and way of the game. Something I love about ffxi there is something here for everyone I just pray they dont make the game to damn easy and whatnot ^^;; gl in your endeavers I miss sylph was my original server <3
Cools! Dubberrucky whats your in-game name?
