Sure would be nice if these items got some kind of overhaul so that they don't suck anymore.
I understand that it is still somewhat "useful" from levels 1-9, but most players solo these levels anyway. So even if you use it, you are gimping the Sprout out of experience, because the experience is calculated normally.
You know what would fix it? Make this item give double the experience to the Sprout, since the Guide isn't getting anything out of it. This would help out a lot. The cool down would no longer be considered a hindrance. It would also encourage a lot of people to start inviting their friends to play again.
I'd gladly start shelling out the Gold World Passes to friends and encouraging them to start playing. I also wouldn't mind fighting low level mobs with my friends to help them level up quickly. Even though I wouldn't get any experience, at least my friend would be able to. And if you could stack the experience from the beret with the rings, I would be setting up low level parties left and right for my friends. I'd also be able to convince a lot of friends to come back to the game. Even if they have to start over.
As of right now though, this item is completely useless. Anyone else have any comments? Please be constructive, if you have nothing useful to say, then just shut up and troll a different thread. If you disagree with me, explain why.
