I just think lowing there respawn time froom 24 hours in a good idea. While its not 100%dead event would lessen the need to bot if there respawn time was reduced from 24+ hours.

I got out of HNM a little while ago. Still I don't see why the HNM re spawn timers shouldn't be lowered, they are not exactly extremely difficult to kill anymore with a small team. With all the new stuff there is little reason to camp them anymore.

Mostly for black belt items or defending ring from king behemoth.
As a former member of an HNM shell, this is definitely something I would like to see. Also, as someone who went 1/43 on the P. Harpe, I almost quit the game after having to get up at all hours of the night and adjust my real life schedule just to have a chance at something that had a horrible drop rate. I know that people who have pursued a Ridill have had the same horrible experience. Especially the fact that these items are no longer the top of the gear and may also be base items to be used for upgrades.
Add to that Trotters.

If anything make BB items 100% drop from the KS99 fights, HNM are kinda pointless now and getting moreso. I don't think changing the spawn timers will change much, people would still bot them if they wanted them.
Well king behemoth is still the only remotely usefull 1 just for defending ring. If hnms are totaly pointless then what the point in having them 24 hour+ spawn time. Hnm concept was stupid from the get go because it was heavly botted and controlled by end game lses that botted for these to make gil who get gear for everyone there was never a fair chance in hnm camping. I could care less for the horable drop rate they just realy do not need to be 21 to 24 hour spawn nm and in some cases some are like 3 day spawn nms i meen realy why so long?

I totally agree with this. Einherjar was a good alternative for obtaining the Abjurations instead of camping the HNMs especially if their respawn times did not fit your FFXI playtime. Many NMs in Abyssea got a DRASTIC drop in their respawn time, yet all NMs and HNMs in regular Vana'Diel still kept their ridiculous respawn.
Time Spawn NM always been a fail system, no one ever loved it, is reason how BOT been so much popular, only BOT can stand that system. Ive been in many linkshell to hear everyone: Oh crap they got it, Ah da#n$t again? For competitive issue, is as much competitive to farm the POP item again other LS, no need to be tortured to look at our screen for 1h and use a bottle to pee and bucket to poo.
Also note how hard it become to monopolize the NM if you actually have to work for the pop. I would rather /welcome a system that drop 1 pop item every 24 hours, but open to anyone to farm it, just very low drop rate, rather then have to fight again who have the best Claim Bot part #2.
Well i personalty was never bothered by the shorter respawed time nms that were like 1 hour or up to 4. I myself found hnms worse becouse the fact people want and so many infact that you have such a large compititions they bot claim just so they will get there gear fast and can move on or make gil off the game they do not want. I am sure people could have botted much faster respawning nms but they spawn so offen whats the point in constantly botting when people have more of a fair chance to get the nm do to the fact it just spawns more frequent.
