Let's set the scenario. You're off fighting in Besieged, you're fighting in a corner that no one else is near, because you're pinned back there. Maybe you tried to run to more people, but grabbed a bunch of mobs that killed you. Regardless, you died. And oh no, Chochoroon wasn't there at the start so you didn't have an Instant Reraise! The battle ends, and no one finds your body.
Another scenario. You're fighting Campaign in Vunkerl Inlet. You grab a mob off of the back of the tower to run to the main group. Since it's orc battles, you get hit with Slam Dunk. You're bound. It kills you. You forgot to get a RR item. The battle ends, and no one finds your body.
This is more of a problem with Besieged than Campaign, because you lose your exp reward from Besieged at the end if you're dead. Campaign also has NPCs in Allied zones that will cast Raise on you...during battle.
I think I read somewhere that they can't changed the Besieged "no exp when dead at the end" issue for some reason, but please don't quote me on that. What they can do is have something flag for anyone with Besieged or Campaign status effect that grants them an automatic Reraise at the end of battle. For Besieged, I would recommend adding maybe a minute to the length of time between the end of battle and the follow-up cutscene to give a chance for people to get up.
Just a small convenience request. Well, probably requires a great deal of programming but I wouldn't know. I just think it'd be helpful so people don't get completely screwed out of their reward from the end of a battle because no one finds them in time, or at all.
