Such as which platform you play on.

Assuming a PC, do the text commands such as /map or key-combinations such as ctrl+e function properly?
Does the game otherwise seem to work as it should?
How did the problem start and was any changes done to the machine recently?
There's a few thoughts that could help further trouble-shoot the issue.


For the account matter, if you need help recovering your ID/password, or the account has been compromised, follow these steps:

- Navigate to the Square Enix Support Centre via the logo at the upper left corner of this site.
- Select your region.
- Go to the Support section.
- Click on Final Fantasy XI.
- Click on Contact
- Under Customer Service click on Get Support.
- Select the appropriate category and follow the steps explained there.

It seems you will have to contact them via phone or web chat to receive support for this type of issues.
