Cat's Eye untradeable why?

Cat's EyE R/EX why ?
So I won a rank 2 prize on my mule it seems and I was quite happy since the only piece i needed to finish for my mythic questline was the alexandrites only to find that unlike the currency for its relic counterparts its R/EX, why is this ?

It does not seem particularily fair considering that its 1 piece of the mythic line (still need to do all the ToAU bosses, all assaults twice, all of nyzul climb, einherjar for the eyepatch, ZNM for the triggers, and fight the boss from said triggers) and all the lower pieces are also buyable. and any and all currency won can be freely traded minus this one item. I am sure many others working on mythics would also be more than pleased to see this changed to tradeable as it would up the supply of alexandrites that are much much lower than any currency out there.

how rare/ex is it? if your mule is linked to the same account, have you tried mailing it to your main anyway?

if even that doesn't work then.. yah, comon se.. help the guy out.

yeah can't be mailed even to another character on the same account can't be traded was hoping for a moogle pie type thing where it could still be bazaared but no luck there either =( as for it being too good for rank 2 the alexandrite stage of the mythic is like 10% of it so I am not so sure on that considering from scratch its a minimum of what 6 months to even meet the other requirements based on tags alone ?

umm idk what server you are on but on mine its more like 90M and considering most people are not interested in mythics and the fact you do not get a return on any previous alexandrites turned in finding a buyer for such an item could prove quite the hassle since most would lean toward the easier route of just doing some empy's or a relic as only 1 part of a mythic is buyable (and personally I wish to use it not just sell it off so even just letting me move it to another character would be fine)

and yes I would say that the cost for the ZNM T4 trophies (if you choose to buy them) subsequent costs of the lamps from einherjar runs and other such expendatures of this nature would make 90M not seem anywhere near the level of getting a 10,000 dynamis piece which i could sell off in about a day or 2 for 150M+

alex is 7-10k on my server. so yeah like 210+ mil.... It doesn't belong in rank2 lol.

well like I said just letting me mail it to my main character would be more than useful as I intend to use it not sell it (I would love to get a return on the large ammount of alexandrites already traded in but I would be more than willing to write these off to finally get my hands on my weapon) it would have also been helpful if they updated the non transferable goods list as I already purchased it thinking it could be mailed being that its a currency even if r/ex

Black Belt items have a similar issue, you can't transfer them from/to mules. Thank Altana I won it on main char (And 1/1 on egg the same night, so I'll take beard and do behemoth for the last item.)

Now that it has become available.. what exactly does a Cat's Eye do? Is it 100, 1000, 10k, 30k or 30k-x alexandrites?

Cat's eye basically completes the stage of the quest as far as the dat's showed for alexandrites so for some it might be 10k but could count towards the 30k completely
