    The title screen menu is now more detailed.

    I logged in and was astounded by the massive change, well done Square the intro screen blew me away...not.

    I expected something good when I read it, the reality made me laugh.

    its nothing shocking, the buttons and the title logo are just higher resolution now- less pixelly.

    No they redid the expansion banners too.

    They also added official support in FFXI config for resolutions up to 2048x2048 as well as non square resolutions. (you can now match your Overlay and Background resolution) Unfortunately if you want exact double resolution you still need to edit the registry.

    I think they should just eliminate the "Background" resolution field and replace it with a "full scene supersampling" checkbox.
