I asked soemone to D2 me and im fine now, no idea what happen really, i zone back in Xarcabard and the bug is gone.
You could have a corrupted file.
A while back the Animation of "Stone V" Used to disconnect me, i ran a file check and it fixed it. Run a file check, fix them, and if it still happens i recommend re-installing FFXI.
I got that bug again today i will try to get a D2 again later today. It's also in xarcarbard again.
I agree with Karbuncle, run the file check and fix your bug.
I try out and nothing found.
Does this only happen in this zone? Does it happen at the teleport conflux abyssea crystal or maw?I zone out of aby Uleguerand then my PC reboot. When i try to log Rakam back it keep rebooting my PC over and over. I can log all my other char normally.
It could be a bad dat but that won't crash your entire computer, only FFXI will crash to desktop. It could be your video card overheating, that warp crystal(conflux) did that to me a few times on one of my old pcs..could be the maw doing it too. Coudl try a total fresh install of FFXI maybe, still don't get how a bad dat would crsh your PC but if it is that, fresh install is how to fix it.
Look like the problem is the outpost, when i try to go use the book to warp home. My wife got same problem in cape terrigan.
