    Definitely could use a "hard-cap" on the lottery spawners. I always did sort of enjoy camping things for ages even if they didn't ever have the loot for me which I so badly wanted. The random occurrences in this game are just ridiculous what comes to loot and such, but that's another story.

    The spawn rate, especially for certain NMs, is quite alike though. I think it took 8-11 hours for Buburimboo to spawn to me one time, while other times it would be around the 90 minutes mark. And this is with a simple place-holder and only a small area. Let's not even venture into discussing about Stray Mary for example. ^^;

    All in all, less time wasted into standing around (I actually do a lot of other stuff while standing there so it's not always that much of a waste, especially if you enjoy your time, then it's not a waste at all, but with things like Stray Mary there isn't much of a convenience on doing other things and one needs to pay more or less attention to it) while waiting for trivial monsters to spawn: yes please.

    lotto pop NM"s what ever just make them have little bit higher chance to repop but still keep them lotto pop and time spawn make those force pop or lotto pop like king arthro his belt is out dated now by abyssea might be few job thats still best for them but still make KA lotto pop or force pop example have knight crabs up always kill those and he has a chance to pop insted of a knight crab or have knight crabs drop a pop item for KA

    Slurring your words in-game is one thing, but no one's holding a gun to your head when posting in a forum.

    King Artho is not a lotto pop, he is a timed spawn with a 3 hour window starting 21 hours after his last death. The Speed Belt is actually one of the few remaining pieces of old gear that is still credible, though I'd much rather use Goading or Twilight personally.


    There is absolute no sound excuse SE can put up to defend the ridiculous state of these old lottery spawns. No one should have to spend literally an entire day just to get few claims on an NM, irregardless of the difficulty or rewards involved. I understand the need to keep rare gear limited in circulation, but this is still just a game. Last time I checked, games are played for fun, not to waste hours and hours of time only to get relatively nothing out of it. I'm pretty sure the majority of us have better things we could be doing than idling in <insert zone here> for hours on end. This is not how you challenge the player base, this is how you piss us off.

    Really simple way to fix them
    have in memory the memory the number of maximum PHs
    say Notorious Monster[6]
    and then have something that is based on a random number generator and do % 6 for the first pop after window
    and when that pops the new storage is [5] or what ever number popped... until you're at [0] remaining or hit the NM the issue is since would have to in and change the code for every NM i doubt this would be implemented we can dream though~

    I think the hard cap is totally sensible, 1-6 hrs is PLENTY long enough to wait for any NM, lotto or not... also while we're on the subject of repop timers, can we get rid of the mobs that only pop during such and so weather? 'repops 24 hrs after death, if there is windy weather, if not it just waits 24 more hours' talk about irritating.

    Really, you don't mind blowing half a day waiting for 1 virtual monster to appear? Sitting around for 6+ hours doesn't somehow make you better than others, or show skill or dedication or anything - it just proves that you really have nothing better to do with your life and frankly I find it disrespectful on SE's part to assume that only people without a life will attempt and finish these things.

    No one's asking for an "Easy Mode" here, this stuff is already very easy - we're just asking that we not have to waste our lives away on a game that should be fun and not a second job.

    It's not just NMs. Regular 16min respawns & even weather. Different types of weather shouldn't be so scarce all the time.

    Lottery should be done away with or at least happen from any of the surrounding mobs and not just 1 single PH.

    I've always thought that, for certain NM's, drops should be 100%. Leapin' Lizzy for example, horrid respawn (even though you can have 2 up at once), the drop rate sucks and the boots are outclassed EXTREMELY quick. You can't even use it on a lot of jobs.

    Valkurm Emperor, should also be 100% drop. Even though it's more useful, it's R/E and can now be traded to your mules. There are a lot of mobs that if they drop something R/E, it should be 100%. Especially now that RMT's have quit FFXI because it's not profitable anymore. And with Emperyon (just about) crushing every piece of armor now, who even cares enough to go farm LL or VE? Just make it one of those things that, as you run through to help a low level friend, you can get this item for them, just because.
