    Sipar

    Why did it get nerfed? It was a situational useful yet balanced shield. A overall neat item. Now its just nerfed junk. Not worth wearing at all.

    Can you un-nerf Sipar?

    True, it blocked a lot but the downside was supposed to be the fact that it would only negate a mere few % of damage, so even blocking you were more or less being hit with the full force of the attack.

    Seems odd that they would nerf it now of all times, and not back when PLD/NIN was king and all your shield was used for was smacking the mob in the face/blocking for Ichi. Oh well, was a very nice shield in capable hands for a little while at least.

    It was nerfed a long time ago I don't remember exactly when but I'd bet around the time Shield Mastery was introduced years ago.

    Don't care if this thing's been nerfed or not, just kinda biffed that this isn't THF-able. Been stuck using light buckler (Shield skill +5) forever. Kinda <Tough> to skill up shield on THF.

    If SE would allow Sipar to be used by THF that'd be awesome!

    Just a level 75 COR still trying to cap his skills before venturing into level 76. All that's left is parrying.
    SE please give me a Parry Roll or Parry Bonus Job Trait.

    But the nerfed block rate would/should put it on the same level as light buckler before accounting for the +5 skill on it... so when accounting for the skill it would have a slightly lower block rate.

    A shield that blocks that high without being ochain isn't "situationally useful." it would be universally awesome.

    That sounds like a bug and necessary nerf to me.
