Id say make it so a GM can disable a players yell command if they are just using it as spam for stupid port jueno fights.
As many trolls that live in Port Jeuno across all servers, a delay on the "yell" command would be an easier option.
Or do both?
Or not implement it at all.
Proud to be "Old School" and to have completed CoP pre-nerf
Yeah, im more with that :P
I think /yell is going to be permanently OFF in my chat filters menu.
Why?Simple Request: at least a 30 second delay between each use of this feature, thanks
You think a shout heard across all jeuno zones is worse than one in port only? Who cares, if it bothers you that much filter it or goto your home nation.
Another option would be go in your mog house, or do something constructive in the game instead of afking for hours in jueno.
This new yell feature will be an awesome improvement it should alleviate congestion in port jueno for people waiting for shouts for a paticular seal they are after or an abyssea xp party.
Theres always gonna be some that abuse that comes with the feature but if your conserned about them you could always blist them, people already abuse shout to no end. Only thing a dread is seeing more of the dhamel jokes that plague bismarcks port jueno now, will soon be happening in all of jueno.
Hopefully /yell doesn't extend to inside our mog houses.
This update will be a nothing really, it won't be a global chat channel it is just going to be all 4 jeuno zones. If you don't care to hear it filter it or go somewhere else, the only reason to be in any jeuno zone at all is for the shouts, home nations give AH and Aby NPCs.
