    [DEV] Grammar error

    So while playing on my newly level 90 DNC (and loving the job mind you) I noticed there was a slight grammatical error with Feather Step.

    When you use the ability it reads:
    <Caster's Name> uses Feather Step.
    <Target Monster> are afflicted with Bewildered Daze (lv.1).

    Instead it should read (to be grammatically correct; unless I am missing something here):
    <Caster's Name> uses Feather Step.
    <Target Monster> is afflicted with Bewildered Daze (lv.1).

    Just something I thought I would point out; grammar for the win!

    [DEV] is not necessary for your post to get read.

    And there is a forum section specifically for bug reports.

    Other things that I've noticed recently from my Dynamis - Tav run:
    * Assassin's Culotte + Assasin's Culotte -1 -> Assassin's Culottes +1
    * Hydra Spats are shoes, while all other Spats in the game are legs. I'd agree that Spats should be shoes (and not legs), but we might as well be consistent.
    * Commodore's Culottes + Commodore's Trews -1 -> Commodore's Culottes +1

    Flanchards (Bale, Abyss, Chaos, and others) are not really flanchards at all, but they should be pluralized in this case since it's really one peice of armor for each leg. They really should be called anything but flanchards because a flanchard is a piece of horse plate armor.

    A Spat is a protective covering over the leg and shoe as well as a type of shoe so I can understand the confusion.

    It covers the ankles and below, basically. So it's footwear really. They were/are mostly worn over boots. Regardless though, they should probably only associate one obscure noun with one equipment slot.

    By the way, what the heck are Consciales supposed to be?

    In the game, the spats are really just the lower part of the armor you wear. Many armors in the game can encompass more than one actual real life piece of armor, due to the limited number of gear slots in the game. Pauldrons for instance are usually included with body armor but are not mentioned in the item's name.

    Take the summoner's spats for example-

    The "spats" are really just the blue part covering the lower leg and top of the foot, and not the pants that they are being worn over.

    But for the most part I think SE is just taking creative license with terms not familliar to the average person. However, they may not realize that it's actually spreading misinformation. But they may just be picking words for things that are "close" to other things to allow more variety in item names.
