    Holy water and cursna B.S.

    Why would a stack of holywater and 2 cursnas not be allowed to remove doom??!!!!!!

    Megantereon used a doom ability at the end of a fight directly after removing it with one holywater. I use 12 stacks of holy water while the whm cast cursna on me twice and still not able to remove it.

    Whats the point of having spells and medicine if they dont work?

    It sounds rather ignorant to make someone waste 13k of gil for nothing!

    In responce to your thread longbow, sometimes even though features of this game seem superfluous down to the point of being a down right slap in the face, a lot of the time these features are there for a reason. If you want a really easy rpg you should try neo pets

    My point is that a full stack of holywaters plus 2 cursnas should have been able to remove it.

    This is just whining at the game not being easy. Sorry that you can't remove the effect in one cast. Part of the game.

    It wasnt one cast it was 2 casts and 12 holywaters, prior it was one cast and one holywater.

    I agree it's kinda shitty. I wish magic skill levels dealt with potency so spells with higher level skill behind them would be more powerful and would require equally or higher level skill to counteract them. Not this crapshot nonsense. It's dumb that you can be prepared to fight something but get screwed by a random number.

    Why should this be changed though? What is wrong with how it is? All it would do is make it easier. It's like you're saying "SE, please make doom last 20 seconds instead of 10."

    Death! Can I has it! Why even worry about it. It's not like you can't make any xp loss back in less than 5 seconds. Holy Water and Cursna don't always work against other Doom casting mobs either. You deal with it and move on.
