    Integrating the Waking the Beast quest is a sound idea, though, for the Summoner's Ring. For the Caller's Ring, I'd just stick with the Abyssean VNMs and a straight-up fight with an upgraded Fenrir minus the avatar interference.
    Actually, the Fenrir prime i listed is probably a lot weaker than even Orthrus or Alfard, both which are killed quite often and easily. his TP moves are very "tame" (only Single Target outside of Howling Moon), and Howling Moon he only uses once.

    The Scars Avatars that "assist" Fenrir in the fight can be basically 1-shotted by Any DD (I wasn't talking about the VNM Version lol :P, The Weak ones that roam around Scars/Vision Areas)

    Its a lot easier than it sounded on paper, If you read Wiki entries on mobs like Raja, Orthrus, Alfard and such They'd sound like Absolute Virtue and PW's bad-ass cousin too :P

    Edit: Truthfully i was debating rather or not the Avatars would just come forth then Astral Flow. I decided them fighting with Fenrir would actually be less raping XD

    True point on that, Even so, Lunar Bay isn't terribly powerful, It is an (A) Fight, So we would likely get Abyssea buffs and (regretfully) brews.

    But without a brew the fight would besigned to be doable. 50% Of your HP isn't catastrophe (Demi) and Death would probably be given a ~5% load rate. Which would be the most dangerous part of the fight.

    I'd imagine Lunar bay would probably hang around ~1,400 dmg or so. Not horrible either. Only problem would be Howling Moon, but since it happens @ 20% HP it can easily be avoided (Aside from the main tank lol).

    I think we're all just having nightmarrish Fenrir Prime flash backs :P

    I'm pretty sure that the fight itself won't be too bad.

    But it will be SMN burned like hell though.

    Which would be fun if you ask me :X

    Its not like Carby prime though, With Abyssea buffs, its actually a lot more tame than it looks (I probably under-played it even).

    Honestly I'd love a new AV or PW. They're much easier now (though PW's AF-rape still sucks like all hell) and back then, they were the "challenge" of the game. That pinnacle of gaming difficulty that would be worth fighting just to fight it.

    That aside, I love the creativity as always Karby. Though I'd like stronger versions than just the randomly-roaming weak avatars, honestly. xD Make it more of a challenge! Get a kiter to deal with the adds that fight along it to open up a little more work too. I'm not talking like Brulo/Maere/Ogopogo strong, but a bit stronger so that they're actually a serious threat and can turn the battle around if you're not careful.

    Rings on the other hand, I like the concept behind. Plus I'd kill for more avatar perpetuation cost- on a slot that doesn't get much love besides MP rings anyway.

    I gotta say, Karb. I love this entire idea. It's the first idea on this site that I didn't Facepalm. I've love this whole thing to be added with some tweaks to make it a little more challenging.

    Appreciate at, and i agree , I would have suggested they added Cloisters(A) where you fought stronger versions of the Avatars as a pre-req to "Abyssea Fenrir". But I had assumed the Avatars were roaming because something happened to those crystals in the (A) Era, so it would be conflicting with story... I haven't looked over it.

    I was trying to make it sound "Tame" (as you can tell by the early responses some people thought it would be too hard even with the weak avatars!). I know that it would be a pretty easy fight with the right group, i wanted to make it a little more difficult too.

    Originally i had planned the 6 Avatars to be their "Prime fight" Strength, Which are a bit stronger than Abyssea avatars.

    Yah i agree MP is a non issue (which is why i kept Perp at -2 instead of -3, Hoping -2 is "weak" enough SE would consider adding another Bonus on it).

    Still, You can get free avatars without weapon with the right gear, If you imagine that same gear set using the Caller's Ring over say, Nashira hands, you could idle in SMN.Brac+1 or Callers+2 and gain a lot of Accuracy for your pet's idle melee.

    Either way, I've given some consideration to this, And i thought... Each player plays Summoner in a different manner. I wan't Callers ring to directly impact avatars, So instead of 1 absolute buff, The Final step could have something like this-

    Caller's Ring
    MP+50 Summoning Magic Skill+20
    Avatar Perpetuation Cost -2
    *One of
    Avatar: Critical Hit rate +5, Critical Attack Bonus (II)
    Avatar: Magic Accuracy +5 "Magic Attack Bonus" (II)
    Avatar: Accuracy Bonus, Attack Bonus (II)
    "Blood Boon" +10

    So give the Summoner's the option to Augment their Caller's ring, Instead of 1 Static buff, the SMN could chose a buff that suits them. Since every SMN would have a different opinion on it, this would give each SMN the choice.

    (Buff strength subject to change)

    That's a pretty cool idea indeed. I definitely wouldn't mind upgrading my Evoker's Ring, should SE introduce something like that. They should definitely check this thread. :P
