Maintenance on EUROPEAN/US TIME GAMING

Need STOP do maintenance ONLY when JP sleep !!!!!!!!!

i'am tired pay same price JP's and get all maintenance in face and JP never see any maintenance... !!!! JP more imporant others? cant make system turn?

Really need stop this *** and make turn 33% for each country !

its funny that they even managed to time this "emergency maintenance" from 4pm to 9pm gmt.
Common do they really think w believe they can plan and carry out 5 hours of maintenance at the drop on a hat. They must have planned this for at least 12 hours before starting it, and if they could wait that long why not 8 hours more.

I dont even understand why people are complaining about this. If SE was North America based it would perform its maintenance during JP prime time.

If SE was US , he need dont save all US time too... i dont have problem with any communauty but start to be tired of JP prior for all... its strange he can work on server midnight to 6am.... in my land technitien dont work night time... so its only for JP's ppls not miss 1 sec game....

maybee need down price for ppls who are victims to maintenance and full price for ppl who dont are...

It is business tactics to schedule server maintanance (or any maintanance that requires nework outage) for the time that least affects the running of the business, example if you work as a network technician or engineer for a UK bank, you arent going to take the network offline for 5hr maintanance at 1pm because it causes the bank to millions of £, $, euros, yen w/e currency you use each hr, you therefore schedule the 5hr maintanace for night time when it will have a small effect on the running of the network.

FFXI is differant though, they cant schedule maintanance when no one is using the servers, so they look at thier records and check what time the least people play which is EU prime time, then if all the EU player rage quit over it theres less effect on SE than if all the JP players rage quit if maint was in JP prime time.

And after SE try got more player EUR... maybee need try again... EUR ppls are not sheep... and when unfair, just go other games... no one rage if maintenance was 1/3 or 1/5 time on prime time, but when is 100% yes... specialely when surprise on event time...

If you are really that angry about it, make a formal complaint instead of crying about it on this forum.

Didn't they have a go at rotating maintenance periods a few years ago? Am I just remembering someone's wishful thinking at DiV? If they did, what happened to cause this to stop?
