Most people don't have to deal with the fees, though there are a few people who might, there is a currency conversion fee if your payment source and the requested amount are not in the same currency. That's the only one that some people will likely deal with.

from my understanding the problem with click n buy is terrible service not fees

I've heard both, but only from a handful of people. I haven't really heard the specifics about whats so bad about service problems either.
