Adding more information to bug report messages

I made a post a few weeks ago in regards to what I thought was a bug in the "Reinfuse Previous Atma Set" option, and once the SE employee responded, the thread was locked.

A couple days ago, my friend made a comment about how he hated that he couldn't just choose from the recent atmas used list to get a new "Reinfuse Previous Set." That's when I realized what I was doing wrong (I always chose from the Recent Atmas list instead of going through the full list. Once I went through the full list, the atmas showed up in the Reinfuse Previous Atma I wanted to add more information to the thread, but I was unable to.

I can understand why the threads are locked, it could get information scattered after a report is made. Maybe there's a way to make it so that only the original poster of a thread can reply to add more information if they find out anything else? I just kinda feel like I'm wasting a dev member's time if the issue was simply a PEBKAC error, which mine was.

If you started the thread, regardless of who locked it, you as the thread "host" can unlock it.
