    XBOX 360 Invisible Problem

    Please forgive me, Im having the same exact problem as a previous poster as described in the Thread: Invis not working correctly. Its been closed to development team with only 1 post. If Im having the same problem, but also my friend on a different system (Ps2) has the same issue aswell, do I open a new thread for the PS2 problem?

    It's a farily common texture glitching thing or something. It happnes on the PC sometimes too. I've had it do the reverse--invis wears and I'm still transparent. I've fought invisible tigers and worms. Idk if it's an issue more with the game engine getting overloaded and not refreshing memory properly, or if it's tied more to an issue with the video card drivers, card cooling, or what. But it usually corrects itself.

    More inclined to think it is with the games engine though. Things like maws not showing up when you zone in, or getting the message that a chest spawned and you can't see it or target it in any way. If you run a fair distance away so it goes beyond the clipping point and then run back, it refreshes and you can see and target them again. Probably a simple side effect of 10 year old code that has been hacked and sliced to death over the years.

    As for your character not shoing the proper visible/invisible state--change an armour piece so that it refreshes the textures and it should correct it. Worked for me when it happens.

    Thanks to both of you, I appreciate your help. Never had this happen in my many years of playing on the consoles, and being that it happens on my friends PS2 version I assume its an issue with that last update. But in the mean time, I'll do as you suggest, change gear etc. Its quite scary when your in a bad place and could be killed if invisible wore off, to think your invisible when your really not
