Walk away

When you are in a shop and are selling/buying something, you can still move your character around while your shopping. So when you are done and wanna leave, you can just walk away instead of pressing Esc or Enter many times.

But when you talk to a different NPC, like example Horst or Joachim in Port Jeuno, you are frozen until the text is done, confirmed a destination or somethig else.

If you accidently press a wrong option or a wrong NPC and dont wanna talk to it anymore, it would be nice to have the option to just walk away like in the shops

Horst and Joachim might not take a very long time to say what they are saying, but many NPCs do. And if you could just walk away instead of confirming everything, I think it many would appretiate it (I know I would atleast)

That is a really good feature of FFXI that was left out of FFXIV for some reason(bazaar wise)((those 14 devs were morons)).

And yeah I agree put some Chrono Trigger up in this bitch!

I found that if you push escape instead of enter you can exit out of most conversations early.

But you can't esc out of abyssea NPCs, which I don't like myslef.

Some quest NPCs won't let you leave till they are done either.
