The only thing I'd change is the ability to set a bazaar flag on your search comment that allowed people to browse your ware list from the search window. with or without prices and/or inventory numbers.

Alternatively they could add a chat command that allowed people to use something like <bazzarlist> to automatically load their Bazaar items list to their search comment. Because while I personally list the items I'm selling in my comments when I bazaar most people do not.

I still don't understand why people don't do it, since I've consistently sold out on items way before my competition (who are right next to me) even when I have higher prices simply because I list what I'm selling in my search comment. And I also buy far more often from people listing what they sell on their search comment than from people hoping I can find them by checking everyone in the zone.

I don't know. I usually just find the best bazaar price on FFXIAH and then go to the zone (usually jeuno or adoulin) and run around spamming "/check <name>". Seems a lot easier than reading everyone's comments.

They could just Link the players inventory to the Action House in a way of a new option; Lets say Jack's inventory is 80/80 and has 10 items up for sale in his Bazaar. Now Jack is moving around a lot, isn't stationed someplace where others could check/buy from his Bazaar. Well all Jack needs to do is go to the Action House and select; Show my wares after he set them in his said Bazaar. Now Jack's Bazaar would show up under "Bazaars" in alphabetical or whatever order SE and or the players would like.


edit: Reason I'd suggested to link w/ inventory is because Bazaar(s) are already base on our inventory, I'm also feeling if it wasn't there would be a space issue.

Hands down is Chocobo circuit.

All level 1 characters can go there, no need to get escorted to Jeuno its practically vacant due to lack of chocobo racing/rearing. Its tied to all cities including Aht Urghan. If they abolished taxes there and added the ability to see yells... Bazaar heaven. And it could potentially alleviate stress on the servers.

Move the chocobo racing NPC's in the grand circuit and add a AH to the main zone.

One stop shop.

There's one small problem with this. It requires Treasures of Aht Urhgan to be installed and registered. While I'm sure the vast majority of people meet this requirement, a player who has an account just for bazaaring may not have bought it.

If they'd change that requirement, add your suggestions of an AH, add a nomad and porter moogle and an entrance in Adoulin, it would be the bazaar heaven.

Easy peasy, they can modify the properties so that Chocobo Circuit inner is part of an basic install when a update is done. Put all chocobo related NPCs in the grandstand. There is a lower level below the main concourse of the Grandstand. Put racing related NPC's there.

The Chocobo Circuit has enough portals etc to put a another entrance to Adoulin. There is a boat load of counters. I mean they even put Synergy Furnaces there too. Why not a porter/nomad moogle?

Just noticed that they added yells to Chocobo Circuit. No Taxes there either. Noticed there is Abyssea NPCs there too. Just need AH Counter and an Adoulin entrance like the other connectors.

Way to get people to Bazaar there, reinstate all taxes except for Chocobo Circuit. Now you have one place easier to sell/move/AH your stuff.

I think reinstating tax is a bad idea, sometimes I'll be gearing up in adoulin and someone will check and buy something. I don't want that to be gone.

I wouldn't mind at least some ability to search where items are, ala ffxiah. Probably not very feasible, though.

a lot, the lag in whichever zone people have decided is the bazaaring spot is really horrendous. even if you are there to shop waiting for the afk to appear takes a LONG time and these are in areas generally where people need to do things, like hit up the AH, a vendor, the RoE guy, whatever. Also, making people step back out into Batallia or wherever means the bazaar shouts will disappear and we can get to see the content shouts we are actually interested in. I know people feel the need to advertise, but frankly if they don't know to look on FFXIAH for what they are interested in and find who is on and bazaaring then quite frankly they deserve to have to run around and check manually. on Ragnarock it has even gotten hard to dump your crests as finding Shami in all the AFK is a chore.

Only way to make to not a AFK Lag fest is to make a dis-incentive to just doing the same. If you leave it as is. People are going to continue to AFK in useful zones like P.Jeuno because they can, they don't care and there is no reason to do different.

This is the direction I can kinda see a few folks attempting to go with this thread into having more folks wanting to logging off knowing there items will still sell while offline even after initial log-off into closing the game for the night, week, or even whole month/months.

The idea on the black market auction house into being like the auction house with the ability to sell more items that could be sold at once compared to the lame one page of 7 items on the Ah when all our own spaces have been enhanced/increased while the auction house still hasn't done it ever in all the years of playing FFXI, well I mean if it were to be done in the right way then countless folks could feel the need to put all of there items into one place to sell and even more comfortable knowing there items will still sell even when they logged offline to do this so we have all our problems answered here in one shot and of course more room on the go to party with to boot when we are online or swapping room of all our gears we would like to swap because of resolving room issues all at the same time.

Now it will be great to hear feed back from this point but actually wouldn't mind hearing what the ffxi community forums team/ffxi dev crew would say about my idea done this way, anyone else?

Edit: By the way I till Loved hearing the idea someone on here had onto being able to sell cross servers stuff on ffxi. I wouldn't mind if that was a bonus feature into getting items sold and resolve/reach the issue of some servers having the items while others don't into selling what we my be looking for without idk a third party way to find it..
