I have noticed in the beginning of some threads that people have used.... how do you say... rude language towards the dev teams of whom they are trying to get attention from. While I understand these people are upset or believe what they are trying to get across is of the highest importance and in some cases think the original implementation of what ever their complaint is was the stupidest thing ever done... you DO not need to degrade or belittle our dev team staff, this includes indirectly, with language such as "who's idea was this?" <implies the person's idea was stupid, or "This should have never been introduced in the first place" Bad content? Not likely you just don't like it, so say why. I heartily believe one should state your gripe with the pro's and con's of the situation as you see them and POLITELY ask that they be fixed, updated, or upgraded. Thank you for considering my thoughts.

At a wild guess I'd say the good ideas from this forum are copied verbatim and given to the dev team? Why exactly do you want the developers to read the forum themselves? The ideas will get to them regardless. They are paid to write and test FFXI, not sift through thousands of posts on here to find the one shining gem of an idea.

Perhaps someone from the Dev team overseas these forums, but i`d be surprised if any people that actually write code come anywhere near these forums.
