Understandable. In my personal case however, it is easier to use direct debit/credit card since it's not from bank with my main account, hence can control the funds in case weird things happened....

While waiting for support, suggest use alternate method like PayPal. Got similar issues like yours, & Paypal does help, as in registering your card to Paypal, then use it as intermediary for payment.
