Please Fix Timed Spawns in Abyssea

This is specifically with regards to enemies like Heqet who are timed spawns and directly linked to Empyrean Weapons;


Today's update is all well & good, but the sheer random chance of getting the correct key items out of gold boxes makes it impractical, especially for large groups. While it helps, I feel you really need to just take the next step and change them to a forced spawn like the other Abyssea NMs.

I can't speak for the other servers, but it's gotten especially bad in Miseraux Coast lately on Bismark. Gukumatz & Heqet are fiercely camped 24/7, and getting their KI's from gold boxes isn't going to fix that.

Ok, so you want it to become a forced pop, heh? All that would do is make the regular frogs in that small area the pop item holders; those mobs are not that many which means a big enough group can claim them all and just keep all the kills to themselves. And even if you get enough mobs to get a pop item, you still got to fight others to trade to the ???. I think the gold box addition is the correct way to address it since you don't even need to be in the vecinity to get the KI, just farm random mobs with the correct amount of lights and get your KI, simple as that. It also has the added effect of leaving the actual mob intact for those that don't want to farm KI and just camp the mob, it is basically two ways to skin that cat.

Would Be nice if They Add them Same ??? to Regular NMs so ppl dont have to wait since They did it to Higher NMs

1. I've never seen those camped. Ever. lol
2. They did fix the spawns, they used to be 30+ instead of the now 15.
3. Just farm gold.
4. I've always said eevry NM in the game needs to be removed and replaced with ??? long before abyssea existed.

Its great for large groups to farm gold. More mobs killed more KIs gained. You can kill many birds with one stone, TEs chance at base feet, crour farming, KIs for other NMs, throw in the odd pop NM for seals. Large groups gets the most out of the change.

I approve completely, albeit for the personal reason that I'm tired of running through a mob swarm and having a True Sight or True Sound NM huddled in the bunch springing up on me because I didn't spot it.

They already threw us a bone with the KI being in boxes, that's more than enough now.

If they let the NM be popped people will complain we need more ???, if they do that people will complain the we need too many items to finish the emp. There would be no end to it, they have to leave some competitive aspect to it and that is what you have now.

Emps are hilariously easy to finish, the competitve claim aspect being the only difficult part at all. As I say they are already so easy to get that they will have to either be nerfed or not allowed to be upgraded past 90, so many people have them and so many more are now working on them that they will be in a position with a large portion of the playerbase all having superweapons.

Just doing vunk tonight for some crour/KI/feet farming, got 6 zone boss pops 4 bukkis pops bunch of feet, pop sep couple of times for some rdm feet seals and netted bout 300k crour. Stay there for about 3 hours we were capped out on zone boss pops in the first hour. Seems to be working just fine.

The KI in the gold boxes is a complete joke. Doesn't solve the problem one bit, as it's still much more efficient to just try to outclaim Heqet.

First off, the chances of getting KI out of a gold box are already low. Then factor in that you need specific ones to drop and it starts to become tiresome. I spent a good 2~3 hours today and never saw either of CC's KIs drop. It didn't help that the JP were swarming every single camp either so we couldn't find any decent EP~DC camps to get started with.

Honestly gold box farming is only viable with a large group, and unless you've got a shell, or start an EXP/Cruor party and lock the KI's then good luck with that. You're likely to waste far, far more time hoping for the right KI to drop than competing for the claim.

It's complete nonsense. I appreciate that SE tried, but it's just not cutting it at all. And Gukumatz is even worse - God help anyone trying to get a even 1 Sobek pop without a good LS.

I gold box farmed the Tahrongi portion of my Vereth in a couple of days with 3 active people at any given time, and that needed twice as many KIs as CC. Puller, Cata-Cleaver, WHM. You have been working on the easiest Empyrean in the entire game for over 6 months. Just stop complaining and take what bones you've been thrown. May as well sell them on the AH if they were to make Emps any easier.

For the love of all things you mad cause it might take more then you and a WHM. IDK instead of standing around waiting to try to out claim you could farm TEs gold boxs for feet/KIs seal NMs for people helping to hold KIs idk whole lot to do. What I said in this thread already that night farming KIs we got 6 zone boss cause thats how many we took and 2 of our party already had full bukkis pops. We trashed around 6 pops of each mob since it was late and no one else was free to come grab them.

These are the bottle neck NMs; ever since the tripple ??? pop I do see the significant increase of campers, tho they were heavily camped at all time as before.

SE needs to response to this, either have it fix or just say this is it no change.

There's no need to fix the current system. SE has implemented enough fixes to alleviate the over-crowding as it stands.

Nah dude, relics are too expensive to sell in bazaars, you have to use trade.

Yeah they do sell relics is bazzars. Only need to enter dynas 3 times to finish one. Can buy all the currancy till you have it all get the other drops which could be merc and the lolbase weapon.

Okay, and how many people were farming with you? Statistically speaking that is some phenomenal luck to get all the KIs you need off of boxes in a timely manner.

Again, going to Heqet - That's 1 KI I need out of at least what, 10~15 that drop in Miseraux now? So you have to factor in the odds of getting a gold box in the first place, then it actually being a KI box, and then again for the right KI - not really the most practical use of my time when I have other things I could be doing.

I think I'd rather take my chances with the claim botters -_-'


Barring that the only really practical method I can think of is to get some friends together, shout for a cruor party and lock all the KI's we need. At least that way if nothing else we'll be getting a bunch of cruor.

Thank goodness Isgebind only needs 1 KI that is super easy to farm.

It had nothing to do with luck. 3 active members, 5-ish leeches that were awake at any given time. Even you can find shellmates or randoms willing to take free exp/cruor =/.

I really just stop reading any post that talks about "Claim botters" or "??? Spawn botters" in Abyssea so anything after that just went one ear and out the other.

There are only a total of 6 KIs in coast now. 2 for amuluk, 2 for sobek, and 2 for C. C.

Really idk if you cap pearl and amber you can see big gold boxs droping like flies. its no were near has hard as your making it out to be.
