...You actually care about SCH having Claustrum?
They should probably be added to at least one relic weapon each, just for the sake of fairness.
COR would probably look pretty freakin' sweet with annihilator.
I'm still working towards my mythic. Can't find an einherjar shell to save my life (or anyone who's willing to take on a stubborn 75COR).
I would like to hear SE's thought about this. There's really no reason why DNC can't use Mandau at all, and no reason why these jobs can't use the relic version. For the Five jobs mentioned, they only have the choice between the Mythic and the Empyrean.
There are better options anyway. Mostly easier to get, too.
I agree seems odd that empyrian weaponskills and mythic weaponskills can proc inside dynamis and have nothing to do with the storyline but these 5 jobs aren't able to equip the relics, just because they we're all introduced later in the game.
Also why aren't there Blu, Pup, Sch, Dnc, and Cor mobs inside dynamis I'm shocked they weren't added when they changed the system.
I agree. Especially since BLU, COR, PUP, DNC, and SCH can use the "fake" Relic Weapons for Sword, Marksmanship, Hand-to-Hand, Dagger, and Club, respectively, and with Empyrean Weapons as a looming shadow in the room, there's no reason to disincentive from the real deal by keeping them barred from it.
In fact, I think that it should be taken a step further by allowing the "fake" Relic Weapons Magian upgrades that will not only increase base DPS per level, but also, similar to the "fake" Empyrean Weapons, allow unrestricted access to their Weapon Skills. As it is right now, the "fake" Empyrean Weapons get unrestricted Weapon Skill access as early as level 85, where the "fake" Relic Weapons can only use it once every 13 Weapon Skills, which is patently ridiculous considering that Empyrean Weapon Skills are, the way things are right now, generally much more desirable . . .
I think the following should be done:
* Relic weapons upgraded with an aftermath effect, or relic weaponskill modifiers.
* Fake relics being given a magian trial : perform X relic weaponskills to unlock the weaponskill properly.
* New jobs being added to relics (or new relics for new jobs, such as a relic grimoire for SCH or relic animator for PUP (Hidden effect: DEX+8!!!) )
* Improve 'relicness' of weaponskills. (Some are pretty dull...)
I think it is more unreasonable that so few melee armors are available to mages. Our lack of traits and JAs and stats in general would still make us weaker melee, so I don't see why we should be banned from them all. At least leathery armors that PUPs get should go to mages as well.
I like them not getting relics. If they did have one, they'd be inferior to their current options, and no one would ever use them. So who cares. One less thing you have to work towards.
i would have to disagree.. if they can make relic gear for the toau and wotg jobs.. then should be able to implement relic weapons for those jobs as well.. personally i would love to have something to work towards.. then agai i would like to see people not all wearing the same gear as well... what ever happened to having indvidual play styles.. Oh yea thats right abyssea came out..
I have to say I completely back this concept as well. It seems a bit outdated for those five jobs not to have Relic weapon access. I don't think new weapons are needed, just throw them on the real versions like they are on the fake as mentioned before.
