IMPOSSIBLE to get a mythic

Since noone does anything but abyssea now, i cant get any nyzul floors done, no assaults and the lvl cap is a pain in the ass!, no einherjar... nothing! noone want to have anything to do with ToaU at all. will there be any plans to fix this? i would kill for a Nirvana at this point.

I'll bite, all Nyzul floors are easily 3manned the entire way up(some lamp floors will give problems). You mean to tell me you don't have 2 friends who can help you for ~2hrs twice a week?

Our problem is that there is just too much other crap to do. When some of the members are only able to get on for 3 hour chunks, they'd rather use that time to team up for more challenging stuff. Maybe when things finally settle down, we'll get back to nyzul....one day.

My proposed solution.

1. Completely abolish of the 4 assault tag per day restriction (5 with Captain rank), this would allow players to live in Assaults and Nyzul.... You could keep the same ridiculous requirements of needing to complete all assaults a second time as well as 150k token requirement but it would be easier for players to acquire these as compared to current requirements.

2. Drop Einherjar to once a day. Similar to how you're implementing Dynamis wait time, it would allow people to accumulate 100k ampoules for an eye patch at a faster rate than the current wait restriction implemented.

3. Either lower the amount of Alexandrite necessary or increase the drop rate drastically. It would also help if Alexandrite as well as pouches dropped in Assaults, Nyzul and Einherjar as further incentive for people to participate.

Said they couldn't do it. Can't find the link for an exact quote right now. Said something about lowering the recharge time instead if I recall correctly.

I'd like to see max number of lamps determined by party size. Not a huge deal, but would help for those days where you just can't get more members.

This is exactly the problem I've been expressing...

SE try to boost Abyssea sale and screwed up so much; new people yes they do come join the game but soon they realized all they can do is A and A and A. That's actually a big fail.

They should just remove "Duties, Deeds and Tasks" from the game entirely, it's nothing more than a blatant time sink and the only part of Mythic that anyone has any problem with. You need to get Captain and Floor 100 just to start the Mythic quest, why do we then have to grind them again? First Mythic quest, titles from Salvage and Einherjar, same story. Titles, ZNM Trophies, final BC and Trials are more than enough for these weapons. Certainly when you compare them to something like Empyreans. The time:reward ratio on these weapons is ridiculous, if they're making Mythic weapons the best weapons ever created then fair enough, but right now they're pretty much at the bottom of the table and the ones at the top take a few weeks to get. Nice logic SE.

That said I don't have a single hope SE will ever actually remove a quest, no matter how greatly unreasonable the quest is. So I pretty much just agree with Garota.
Removing Tags altogether is the greatest possible solution to Assault/Nyzul.
Making Einherjar similar to Dynamis would be great, you just go in for 10 minutes and kill some stuff, bosses become force popped, mobs drop Ampoules as you kill them. Zone and mob layout would need to be changed quite a lot though.
Remove the limit on Salvage entry altogether. No JP midnight. No 3 person minimum, it's easy to solo god dammit. Other than that the drop rates need changing. For starters, the purses need to be 100% from bosses and they need to give you a fixed amount, no 4-20 or 50-100. They're meant to mirror Dynamis coins, 100 Byne Bill isn't 50~100 Byne Bills, is it.

I'm fairly sure they said they couldn't make it so Tags stack like Abyssea stones rather than not being able to remove them altogether.

I assumed "completely abolish" the "4 tag restriction" meant no cap on max number of tags. I doubt they'd let us just freely enter assault repeatedly either though.

Abolishing tags would be similar to how they've handled Dynamis Hourglasses. You get one once and then you can just go get Assault Orders whenever. I see no reason why they'd have an issue with such a solution, it's not like Assault has any other purpose than Mythic anymore, keeping it hideously drawn out like it is now is just pointless. Maybe if Empyreans didn't take a couple weeks and Relics a couple months I wouldn't complain, but "Duties, Deeds and Tasks" alone takes several months alone just because you have to wait for tags. Assault will take you 50 days alone, Nyzul Tokens assuming you're only doing Floor 95-100 would take you about 90 days. Removing tags isn't making you avoid any of that work, it just means you can steam through it at your own pace.

Dynamis still has a once a day restriction. Its restrictions were reduced, not completely removed. It just didn't seem like something they'd do, no need to keep re-explaining to me why it wouldn't hurt anything I'm with you on it lol.

I'd like to see Alexandrites come from other sources as well.

If I worked at Square and wanted to make some money I would make Alex obtainable from gardening, the amount of money they can make from all those gardening mules.. lol
