Well, I excepted with grief that server-maintaince for updates are always in EU prime time for some reason I don't understand, but these follow-up mains are really the worst.
In EU prime time too, they always are on my LS' event time... :mad:
But I think its just JP Players >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> EU, NA & Others
Do you guys actually TEST your patches? Always seems you throw a patch on the servers and hope it will work. Is that how things should be programmed/updated?
Its always the same: Patch -> emergency patch I -> emergency patch II -> -> emergency patch III....
Honestly when was the last bigger patch without follow-up? And all you get is "Sorry here, sorry there". Its really getting old.
But its always my time for play that gets busted...

Probably has nothing to do with playtimes and more to do with when it's cheaper to pay the staff to do the work.

And again, they do the patches @NIGHT. I assume so that ppl in Japan aren't effected. They will sleep, while EU players just can not play. So "They don't run on your time" is actually not a reason -

They are based in JP, which would most likely suggest that the JP downtime would be the best time to update their servers with the least amount of trouble. In this situation you learn that this is how it is done, you don't complain. You find something else to do with your time.Quote:

I think the best part with these maintenances is that they always ruin the playtime for working EU members, and not working NA members (and of course, not sleeping JP members). So you just have to be in none of these categories to get away. Either be a EU and quit your job, be a JP and sleep or be a NA and get a job.

Why not just do the main on 9am (JST) and go to karaoke or something like that after work and have - at least once in a while - some happy EU players and some happy SE devs? Its a win-win xP
