Maintenance. What will you do during?

Enjoy the 11 hours maint. and possibly more if there's time extensions. I'm going to sleep during most of it after I read the version update notes. What will you do?

I'm waiting for the version update notes to pop up. Then once that's done and I've finished reading them, I will then decide whether to declare them epic win, just ok, or epic fail.

Then I have IRL errands to run, etc. etc. The usual BS on one of my off days.

You are the second person to post that topic. Be patient. SE has their hands tied up and such with getting everything going.

no patience i wanna know i cant cotain myself i just peed a lil bit

lol. I'm checking around the forums waiting too. I stayed up all night and been awake since 2pm EST yesterday. I'm hoping they post it up before noon EST so I can finally get some sleep before the updates are over with.

I swear to God, SE does their server maintenance when I have my days off. It NEVER fails. lol

As for what I'm going to do.. meh, day off so I'm going to take it easy. I might be able to play tomorrow, unless this damn thing takes longer and they want to not allow me to play on BOTH of my days off lol

Maybe you should check into getting your days off switched around so the maint. doesn't happen during your off days? :p

I hope there's no extension too to the maint. since I start my first day of summer school early tomorrow morning and I'd like some hours of gameplay with the new stuff after the update. But I've been cursed lately with FFXI related stuff, so it wouldn't quite surprise me.

spam F5 on official site front page till update info are here, read it, read the QQ in forums till you can start DL, then spam F5 on datamining threads

or if it happen too late (EU) go to sleep and read datamining tomorow @work

I'm hoping it's done sometime later tonight, just got my DRK advanced job and want to work on another and possibly level a few before I have to go back to work.

Talking with some of my LS mates in computer chats and listening to music. Planning out things to do in-game once maint. is complete... probably will be doin' some good ol' skillups on my alt's NIN.

Weird. I forgot what the sun looked like. It's a strange world out there, the level of detail is amazing, I mean I'm not sure what kind of processors reality is pumping but wow, you can't even notice the polygons and the texture resolution is amazing. If a computer of such a spec was within an affordable price range, I'd encourage SE to invest in such an engine. Spectacular.


Nah, I just spent time working on my portfolio and seeing what jobs are out there, I was hoping to see 'Scholar' or 'Thief' on the list, but the real world just uses cheap knock offs like 'researcher' and 'bank manager'. Worst MMORPG evar!
