Server Specific SubForum

Please implement this.

On that note the reason why I and this community needs this sub forum for posts like the following:

On Phoenix -
Looking for some rare but not so popular items - Auster's Pearl/Auster's Earring/Breeze Earring, Peiste Mantle +1, Cursed Cuisses -1.

There are already a couple threads started about this idea.

I am all for it. I was kinda surprised that they didn't already exists. I hope to see them added to the site after the server merger.

You also have ffxiah.com for that also.

Check that website out, you would be surprised the number of features they have for stuff like that. Including a "Wanted" section on your own person page and the page of the item you want.

Already there boss.

I don't think a board per server is really needed, but instead broken down in a larger "Seeking Help" section that's then broken down into Quests/Missions, Magian assistance, and maybe even crafting requests. You can then just tag your post title with your server and everyone willing to look will be able to see at a glance.

Logically we should have them. XIV does.

Except AH is littered with people trying to be cool, and leave sarcastic and saccharine posts at every turn. I think we need what OP desires, except Asura shouldn't get one, because well, it's not really a server... more of a circus.

HEY! Asura is not a circus, more like a mental ward!

While you are right about ffxiah.com having their major share of retards, admins and mods included, they also have some good information on it. You have to go past the idiocy to get the jewels of knowledge they had. Lately they haven't had any good information, but you would have to search in the job forums for a little while to find some good information about jobs, like gear combinations or atma usage.

Wiki still stands as the major source of information though, not the forums, but the actual pages about stuff.

I went to Ramuh, got bored, and moved back to Asura. Plus, I missed my friends on Asura. Kindof glad I came back to be honest.

Yeah but these forums are for everyone, the other fansite forums are all for a very limited portion of the playerbase.

You know me and how many 'friends' I have on Ass-ura. I say good riddance to bad rubbish, we do need specific forums for servers though so we can communicate, and make transactions with others in an organized fashion!

I was never popular in Asura either, but I still had a lot of people who like me for who I am.

As for the specific forums, I see a lot of needless drama arising from this, mainly Player Warnings and the such. Look at ffxiah.com and KI, you would see what having a subforum for different servers are going to be like.

Well, the mods here crack down a lot more hardcore than the monkies that ffxiah lets play around with ban hammers. I dont think it'd be TOO bad.

Well, yeah. Until something drastic happens, like a major advertiser like Goggle pulls the plug on them, they won't do anything until their hardcore forum players demand that a person be banned. Its all politics on that website.

As for this, there would be a lot of needless threads before SE realizes what a bad idea is. But I agree with you, there would be a lot more threads nuked and earlier too than on other websites.

anywas I agree I think there needs to be more sections. I made threads like this before and so have others.

I hope they take this more to hart as more pop up
