Make Voidwatch more accessible?

For the sake of completion I'd like to finish all of voidwatch.

The trouble is, even at 119, and with displacers, a lot of the monsters are not really soloable.

And because the rewards are not there, no one is going to want to do (say) Tier 2 Zilart monsters with me.

And even if I could drag out my few friends, it probably still wouldn't be enough to beat some of them, since they didn't do any voidwatch and have no temps etc. And it would be asking a lot of them to request they do tons of NMs to get them.

Unfortunately even when they are enabled, trusts are not going to help much since the monsters spam AOE moves and trusts won't use temps.

I am not sure what the solution is, maybe a voidwatch campaign with enhanced drops? If specific drops were added to monsters that are pretty pointless now it might help spread at least some interest? Or even just increased rewards on all monsters so that people had more incentive to help? If plate pouches and cinders etc and JSE upgrade materials were a possible reward from every monster I might be able to drag people out to some weird ones or get a climb going.

Otherwise/in addition it might help if the HP was drastically lowered for all monsters that don't drop plates or REM/JSE upgrade materials.

Maybe they should just make it so that you only have to beat the top tier of each path to be considered cleared on that path, since those are the only ones people do anyways. You wouldn't get the abyssites etc. from the lower NMs that way, but at least you would then have the warps / access.

I hope so. If they gave a KI that made trusts immune to AOE damage in VW it might work but I don't see how they can make it easier otherwise.

Also they should drop the price of displacers and remove the limit on how many you can buy a week.

What... please tell me what VW mob is not soloable with clusters??? You can even solo provenance watcher w/clusters but most certainly in a duo or higher w/o.

First of what are clusters, Draylo?

What if they made vw temp meds usable by the player to remove AoE status ailments/other cure on your trusts kind of like you using to cure fix it on your pats but instead it only works on your trusts?

Well, "not soloable for a player without REM and only couple OK geared jobs"

I could solo a lot of them on BST but a lot of them like to use doom/one shot pets.

Also I don't want to have to spend 100K for every NM and only be able to do one a week.

Just cause a top tier player can solo stuff doesn't mean it's realistic for most players. I'm not afraid to admit I'm just a so-so player - but given that this content doesn't have any unbalancing rewards, it would be nice if it was made easier to complete.

Provenance Watcher seems like he would be impossible for most jobs to solo. As I recall, you have to knock down those elemental thingies he spawns or he gets like 99% damage reduction. And those are either immune to physical or magical damage.

I had trouble soloing Bismarck, Ig-Alima, and Botulus Rex even with 5 displacers, though I was able to beat Ig-Alima in a trio. But this might have been in the pre-Adoulin days.

I do remember that I soloed all of Jeuno T4 - T6 with displacers in pre-Adoulin gear with almost no trouble. That one guy in Fort K-N (forget the name) actually nailed me with Doom near the end of the fight. I killed him, then the Doom killed me at the same moment. Good thing I had Reraise.....

So your argument is "make Voidwatch easier, even though you have this tool that makes it easier that I just don't want to use"?

As I said, I soloed most of them with crappy pre-Adoulin gear.

Pretty sure they did away with the weekly restriction on displacers so use as many as you need. My understanding is that people were able to solo PW with displacers awhile ago so you'd think that a couple of intelligently geared players could duo it now.

Point is, VW is so easy even for non "top tier" players. You could beat almost all of it in sparks gear and most certainly in a duo, all with trusts. Next update you get 5 trusts and they aren't paper thin defense against VW mobs at the least, you also can stun certain ws if you only want completion.

Just curious how does Void Watched spawned Notorious Monster Pil come into play with this and his location being in or around Behemoths Dominion as to being able to be Soloable??

Pil is a breeze with Displacers. I don't see what him being in Behemoth's Dominion has to do with it.

And yeah I do want the content to be made easier (just mobs that drop nothing but junk) why not? The content is pointless now, why not make it easier for people to complete?

Would it impact you in some way? Are you doing these mobs for a challenge? Or are you all done with them and will never do them again? If it's the latter, why oppose it being made easier?

I do because they made the game easy enough, you are always the one asking for them to make it even easier... Do you even like any challenge at all in games? It's not hard at all to do now, I don't think it would be good to make it so you could one shot them and move on imo (which is kinda the case already.) Do you have something against people have differing opinions?

Implying I was referring to Voidwatch as a challenge. Notice I said games in general, this person cries for nerfs on everything. Nice try though.

I second that. I mean it's hard to proc lights when you are solo'ing w/ trusts unless by sheer luck you get that 1 moment where white proc is a ws or spell you can do lol. Otherwise you'll be seeing yourself /fume'ing the mob til it happens or until the battle ends.

Tho /fume is being adjusted next update when doing RoV missions. So odds are that white can be proc'd more easily.
